WHAT TO PACK?

CLOTHES

Due to our climate in autumn and spring, it is best to bring plenty of shorts and T-shirts, warm cloths and weather gear with a few track suits for cool days and night sailing. We provide you with a sailing suite, it would be handy to take waterproof boots . Thin rubber glows and ski head hat, sunglasses, sun protection cream, hats/beanies etc. Shoes have to be soft-soled and non-marking. Sleeping bags are mandatory.

BEDDING

We provide towels, sheets, pillows and pillowcases for the boats, which will be changed during the course duration. Your clothes can be laundered at the local laundry for about 2,00 euro/kg. You are required to bring a sleeping bag/duvet with you as well though we will provide extra blankets if needed.

TOILETRIES (not provided)

Soap, shower gel, shampoo, toothpaste, sun protection cream.

ACCOMODATION / FOOD
  • accommodation is provided during the courses aboard the yachts
  • you have a budget of 110,00€ per week that is separated from the course price and put in a joined budget for food supply on board
  • all participants get daily tasks regarding cooking and cleaning duties
WHAT DOES PARTICIPANT GET?
  • boat leader license category “C” (30 GT)/ international valid license, issued by Croatian Maritime authority
  • verified log book for accomplished NM
  • experience in maneuvering all kind of charter boats including cat
  • sailing school
  • mechanical problems solving knowledge
  • basic safety
  • basic regatta sailing knowledge
  • chance to change the style of living and become a skipper!
ARRIVING TO STARTING BASE
  • starting base is Marina "Agana", Dr. Franje Tuđmana 5, 21222, Marina, near Trogir
  • if arriving by a bus, Split town is the most connected in the area, from Split you have local buses to Marina, or you can take a taxi
  • if arriving by car you have a free parking lot secured
  • if arriving by plain the nearest airport is Split (17 km), and second closest is Zadar (124 km)
WHAT NEXT?
  • find and get all possibilities for mile building and obtaining maritime experience.
VISAS
  • no need for Visas for citizens of EU. Russian guests need VISA only out of season (1.6. – 15.9.).
