RESUME

- Course startes in October (4 weeks) with resumption in March and May (practical and theoretical lessons)
- Each attendant will get Yacht Master License (100 GT) issued from Croatian maritime authorities

- Participation in one Croatian regatta

NAUTICAL COURSE - AIM / DESCRIPTION
The aim of the 12-week "Yacht Master Superior" course is to provide thorough practical and theoretical training and all preparation for the Yacht Master License (up to 100 GT) exam. After successfully passing the exam, candidates are qualified as Yacht Master up to 100 GT skippers and are employable in the international boating industry. No previous sailing experience is required to attend this course. Our attendants receive internationally recognized license.
NAUTICAL COURSE - DURATION
12 weeks divided into three four-week sessions
NAUTICAL COURSE - LOCATION
Starting base is city of Split (Central Adriatic). Course is conducted all around Croatian islands including one trans Adriatic crossing to Italy and back, possible route to Greece and back. Theoretical lessons will be conducted in Split, in Split Ship Management center for maritime studies.

BOAT / VESSELS
For the course we use various types of the boats: Beneteau First 36.7, Elan Impression 434, katamaran Lagoon 410. All attendants will have each lesson on one of the mentioned boats.
INSTRUCTORS
All instructors are very experienced skippers with experience in conducting the courses.
WEATHER
Weather in Croatia during autumn and spring is very variable with lots of wind and sun. Average temperature in October is 17 °C, March 14 °C, and in May 21 °C.

ESSENTIAL FOR EXAM / NAUTICAL COURSE

What to bring along for the course?
CLOTHES
Due to our climate in autumn and spring, it is best to bring plenty of shorts and T-shirts, warm cloths and weather gear with few tracksuits for cool days and night sailing. The best is also to have sailing inshore suite. Winter glows and a ski hat, sunglasses, sun protection cream. Shoes have to be soft-soled and non-marking. Sleeping bags are mandatory.
VISAS
No need for Visas for citizens of EU. Russian guests need VISA.
BEDDING
We provide sheets, pillows and pillowcases for the boats, which will be changed weekly and laundered in the local marina. Your clothes can be laundered at the local laundry for about 2,00 euro/kg. You are required to bring a sleeping bag/duvet with you as well though we will provide extra blankets if needed.
TOILETRIES (not provided)
Towels, soap, shampoo, toothpaste, sun protection cream.
ACCOMODATION / FOOD
- accommodation is provided during the courses aboard the yachts
- food (extra): Pizza or daily menu in Croatia is about 5,50 euro, Beer/coke about 2,00 euro
- all people on board buy food together. Money will be collected in cash on first day of each course week all in settlement with your crew and captain – regularly this amount is 50,00 euro

For total of 4 people: 9.900,00 euro/person
For total of 5 people: 8.960,00 euro/person
METHOD OF PAYMENT
The Registration Form is sent upon request, which must be filled in and returned. This filled application form must be followed by:
- Bank confirmation for 50% of paid deposit (banking details will be given on receipt)
- The balance is expected 1 week prior to commencement date of the course, or if you pay from Croatia you can pay with any credit card until first day of the course
WHAT ATTENDANT GETS?
- Yacht master license category "A" (up to 100 GT)/ international valid license, issued by Croatian Maritime authority
- Minimum of 2000 NM in log book
- Experience in maneuvering all kind of charter boats including cat
- Sailing school (basic, advance, spinnaker)
