  • Suitable for candidates who have previous experience in maneuvering/sailing and navigation with a sailing boat

  • Our luxury sailing yacht is Beneteau 57 DS (2007.)
  • Course is conducted both in English and Croatian language
  • Course will take place in Mediterranean, depending where is the sailing boat at that time (Croatia, Greece, France, Italy)

NAUTICAL COURSE - AIM / DESCRIPTION

The aim of the 1-week "Luxury sailing yacht" course is to provide thorough practical and theoretical training of maneuvering with luxury sailing yacht. Previous sailing/navigation experience is required to join this course. Attendants will be informed about all technical specification of the yacht. The aim is also to inform future skippers about possible engine problems on these kinds of boats. Course involves off shore sailing.

All instructors are very experienced skippers with experience in conducting the courses.

WEATHER

Weather in Mediterranean in autumn and spring is very variable with lots of wind and sun.

PRICE INCLUDES

  • Accommodation on board
  • Books for the exams and basic gear (gloves, knifes)

ESSENTIAL FOR EXAM / NAUTICAL COURSE

  • Minimum 4, maximum 6 attendants per boat
  • Adults only (minimum 18 years of age)
  • First aid certificate
  • Log Book reflecting exam prerequisite miles (possible to purchase on the spot for 20 euro)

What to bring along for the course?

CLOTHES

Due to Mediterranean climate in spring, summer and winter, it is best to bring plenty of shorts and T-shirts, warm cloths and weather gear with a few track suits for cool days and night sailing. You are advised to bring along a light wind breaker. The best is also to have sailing inshore suite. Shoes have to be soft-soled and non-marking, sunglasses, sun protection cream, hats/beanies etc. Sleeping bags are mandatory.

VISAS

Visas for Croatia are not needed.

BEDDING

We provide sheets, pillows and pillowcases for the boats, which will be changed weekly.

TOILETRIES (not provided)

Towels, soap, shampoo, toothpaste, sun protection cream.

ACCOMODATION / FOOD

  • Accommodation is provided during the course aboard the yacht.
  • All people on board buy food together. Money will be collected in cash on first day each course week all in settlement with your crew and captain – regularly this amount is 50,00 euro

2.000,00 euro – minimum 5 attendants

METHOD OF PAYMENT

The Registration Form is sent upon request, which must be filled in and returned. This filled application form must be followed by:

  • Bank confirmation for 50% of paid deposit (banking details will be given on receipt)
  • The balance is expected 1 week prior to commencement date of the course, or if you pay from Croatia you can pay with any credit card until first day of the course
